That things could be back to how they used to be – you know, before all this began. Where the days and nights were just normal – if that is, what normal was.

I remember the laughs we used to have when we worked on the doors – the people watching, the practical jokes, the funny situations that we found ourselves in – but there was that trust – that bond.

When I look back it seems a million miles away, the friendship, the loyalty, the bond we doormen ( and women) had. But that is now gone, and I find myself facing this fight on my own – or so I think.

I am married, but has all of this pushed us so far away from each other that we can never get it back? – does my wife really know me any more? – do I know her?

There is something inside me that is pushing me on – driving me forward – something that I cannot stop or have any control over. I have to write, this is now what I do – I do it for you.
