I seem to spend most of my time either researching stuff, blogging or posting.

I have written a letter to the Chair ( not literally) or the Head of the Parish Council to make them aware of the situation, although in reality, they already know.

My case was a little more serious than someone’s dog weeing on a wheelie bin, excess litter in a particular area or even fly tipping.

When we first moved to the village nearly fourteen years ago we were aware that there were hardly any people with “colour”, but we just wanted a nice quite life – to get on with everyone, and to raise our children in peace.

However, being dragged into an arms drugs raid didn’t do us any favours, especially when some clown from the Neighbourhood Watch decided to publish what turned out to be only half the story.

But that was it – this “darky” from the outside world was “in their eyes” an armed drug dealer. and with a population of 4,500, with 3,200 viewing the posts (two) my fate was sealed.

It has been suggested ( not by me I add), that the sale of white pillow cases, went through the roof when this news went out.

Apparently, it was also added, that the burning of the cross at Blidworth Bottoms ( nothing to do with the dogging scene) also became a regular occurrence – with alleged cries of allegiance to the KKK.

Apparently, everyone is entitled to a safe private life, but for us, our time in the village turned into a living nightmare until we were hounded out – so now, what we need to know is –

Who was behind the encouraging of this kind of behaviour? – who was orchestrating the mob?

I need to know what relationship the Parish Council has, if any, with the Blidworth Neighbourhood Watch. Do they help fund this scheme, who is in charge of it – and I think that most important – just who regulates what is published?

I have asked for an audience with the Council to get to the bottom of this, because in my mind, ( which is well and truly screwed) in the twenty first Century, this kind of behaviour and discrimination, should not be allowed or acceptable – even if you live in a tiny Northern Nottinghamshire Village that boasts Maid Marian as one of its past residents – as well as being the final resting place of Little John and Will Scarlet.

I will keep you updated on developments
