If I had not been born with thin lens in my eyes I would have been a Police Officer. I loved the idea of being a Royal Marine – but again, my eye problem prevented this.
The next best thing that I could do was to get involved in the Security Industry, where my condition proved not to be a hindrance. In fact, I managed to get twenty eight years of service under my belt. I like to think that I was good at my job.
I have seen and done things that most people would never believe, but do you know, it was fun, and I met an awful lot of nice people along the way.
My point is – you can keep getting knocked back in life, but you never know what is around the next corner. Do you turn left, or do you turn right? Which ever way you turn you will meet different people – travel in different directions.
Life is full of choices – a kind of continued learning curve – what choice will you make?
