Yet another phone call from the recovery college reminding me that I have a course to attend this Friday 28th September 2018.
The course is Understanding Adult Mental health, and again, I had forgotten that I had agreed to sign up for this, as my mind is all over the place at the moment – so many destructive and negative thoughts.
Because I have battled mental illness for many years, I am of the belief that there is not a cure, but I do believe that you can get the “tools” to help you contain or manage your illness.
I suppose it depends on who is providing the medical expertise at the college as to the benefits you will take away from the course, but I am willing to try everything and anything if it gives me some kind of relief.
I still cannot help but feel that two of the supposed “Medical Experts” that were supposed to have helped me, where indeed two of the individuals that have helped put me in such a dark place.
