I have been away for a while –  my physical body has been here but my brain has been elsewhere.

Anyhow, after weeks of waiting for my MP to help me sort out a serious issue with the Newark Advertiser ( My knees are still knocking with the threat from their own Head reporter – Dan Churcher – please oh master, please don’t threaten me like this!) and the Mansfield Chad.

In fact, I am a little (ok, a lot) miffed with Mr Spencer for appearing to do absolutely zilch.

Then there is the issue of the Blidworth Neighbourhood Watch – feeding on partial information given by the two named newspapers. In doing so, this “Watch” has done nothing more than fuel racial tension to the point where I am expecting to see white hooded figures wandering around with burning crosses.

I can only imagine the rush to buy white pillow cases from the local pound shop or B & M.

Thing is, and after a little bit of digging, I am reliably informed that The Blidworth Neighbourhood Watch doesn’t actually exist. No affiliation or association with the National UK Neighbourhood Watch Scheme – Nothing to do with Blidworth Parish Council – nothing ,nowt,  diddly  squat.

So why on earth is this phantom organisation able to spread such hatred in such a small ex mining village?

3400 views – and rising, population of 5000 – even I in my fragile mind can do the maths – then it is no wonder that all is left of our existence in Blidworth is tumbleweed meandering down Dale Lane.

If you like me, are trying to get your head around just what is going off here – join the queue – form an orderly line – all will become clearer – soon.

I received a surprise email from the Independent Press Standards Organisation asking questions that are only asked when the s**t is going to hit the fan. I have replied, and will keep you informed and updated as soon as.

There are only so many times that you can be knocked over – only so many times you can be kicked. If you just find that one piece of strength and courage – you think f**k it, I am going to fight back.

Whatever the result, I am going to open a right old can of worms here – Don’t panic Mr Mainwaring.
